This flexible part-time position is ideal for someone passionate about faith formation, community, and working with children and families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Qualifications:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Background in education, theology, ministry, or related experience preferred<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>College students and emerging leaders are encouraged to apply<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience working with children, youth, or church education programs is a plus<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Comfortable using email and social media for communication<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to recruit and support volunteers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must support the welcoming and progressive mission of our church<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Background check required<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must complete UCC Safe Church\/Boundary Training (or be willing to complete shortly after hire)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Responsibilities:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Coordinate Sunday School programs (Nursery\u20138th Grade) during the school year<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prepare or organize weekly lessons and support volunteer teachers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain communication with families through email, social media, and other outreach<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Help plan family events, youth activities, special Sundays, and seasonal programs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lead Vacation Bible School planning and summer programming<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Work collaboratively with church staff, volunteers, and the Christian Education Board<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Attend monthly church leadership meetings<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Position Details:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Part-time: approximately 13 hours per week<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Flexible scheduling<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Some seasonal weeks (Christmas\/Easter\/VBS) may require additional hours<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, encouraging children in faith, and creating meaningful experiences for families in a supportive church community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To apply, please email your resume to scc.ucc.christianed@gmail.com<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are seeking a warm, organized, and creative leader to help grow and guide our children and youth ministries.
